Artificial Christmas Trees

I really love having my Artificial Christmas Trees, I hate having to go out in the cold and buy a new one every year. It is that time of year when it is time to get a tree, and I really recommend an artificial tree because you won’t get needles in your feet! There is always the National Lampoon’s Christmas factors too, you could blow out your windows and have stray animals living in a real tree. I am happy to take it down at the end of the season and put it away. You can find really nice artificial Christmas trees along with many decorations for Christmas, including the inflatable decorations at www.Christmas-Decorations-Online.com!

The Goonies

This is a classic film and loved by most people that were around in the 80’s.  The Goonies is a comedy that is about a group of young kids, (about 10, 11 or 12) and three teens (maybe 16, 17) who find themselves thrown into a treasure hunt for One Eyed Willy’s treasure, but are closely pursued by th ‘bad guys’ all a quirky group of terrible thieves.  It is really funny, but it appeals to a lot of 20 something people because that was our era!  I give this movie a 4 out of 5!

VoIP Phone Service

Saving money on a phone by using a VoIP phone service is so nice. I refused to put a home phone in my house until they came out with the VoIP phone systems because these companies charge way too much for phone service. You can get VoIP phone service through VoIP.com for as low as $19.99 a month, with a free month in the beginning. This service includes free calls to Canada and Puerto Rico, unlimited! This is a way better bargain than I was getting from my local phone company, who was charging me almost $100.00 a month for practically nothing. I recommend everyone checking out the VoIP phone service at VoIP.com, because it can save you a lot of money!

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

I am on the Christmas movie kick, and probably will be until the day after Christmas.  There are still so many movies that I need to buy to add to my festive collection, but yesterday I went to Circuit City and bought National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (the cartoon not the stupid movie).  National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is a must have, it is so funny.  I really wish they wouldn’t keep making National Lampoon’s movies though, because the name is getting ruined.  Chevy Chase stars in the Christmas movie, which is a hilarious take on the holidays with our families.  A lot of what happens in the movie we can relate to, and that makes it even better!  This movie gets a 4.5 out of 5 for sure!

Interior Wood Doors

My Interior Wood Doors are getting quite out of shape. I know that wood warps over the years, and these doors have been here since the house was built! I was thinking about getting a couple new interior wood doors, one for my bedroom, one for the bathroom, and one that leads to the stairs. HardwoodDoorandBevel.com has some really beautiful and inexpensively priced wood doors for the interior of your home. I can not decide what would be the best doors for the ones that I want to replace, the selection is awesome so it is hard to pick! I love shopping online for this type of thing though, because I do not feel the pressure to buy anything on the spot.

<3 Amazon

I just got in one of my shipments from Amazon.com and it contained the movie Jack Frost that I bought for like $4.50.  It stars Michael Keaton and he ends up being a snowman, which no one can believe at first!  It is a really cute movie, and if I’m not mistaken it is still on sale for that cheap on the Amazon website.  This is a great holiday movie to add to the list, I recommend it for young and old people alike!  3.5 stars out of 5!

The Interest Pit

I was watching The Money Pit on Comedy Central the other day, I forgot how funny that movie really is. I often think if they had credit cards those would be maxed out on that house, along with many mortgages and remortgages as well! I guess it wouldn’t be too bad if they had one of those 0% interest credit cards, because they would rack up a lot of bills. I have done this before on a higher interest credit card, and I sought out a deal offering 0% balance transfers so that I could end up paying way less interest than I already was. It worked out pretty good, I just hope that my house never gets that bad because I do not know if there is a credit card out there that could cover it!

E.T.

It has been a very long time since I watched the movie E.T., but when I was playing Scene it on the xbox the other day they had a clip from it and it cracked me up.  I actually do not even own this movie on DVD but I am sure that I will very soon!  For those of you who live under a rock, E.T. stands for extra terrestrial or alien.  This alien comes to earth and the government does what it does best, snoops way too much.  A kid named Elliot befriends this alien and they have adventures together.  This is one of the greatest movies ever, 5 stars out of 5!

Golf Swing

I was watching one of my favorite movies Caddyshack after I wrote my last post. It is such a funny movie, I can’t ever get enough of it! This brings me to a golf question that I have always had. Why do I hit my drives short instead of long distances? I went to The-PerfectGolfSwing.com to find out more about the problem with my golf swing. It turns out that I am swinging primarily with my arms and not getting all of my body parts working in unison to hit a golf ball with the maximum force of which my body is capable! This is pretty interesting advice, I am going to have to go to the indoor golf dome here soon to figure it out. You can find your perfect golf swing through training obtained at the website, and it will be so much fun the first time you step back onto the green after winter, and look like a pro!

Caddyshack

This movie came out in 1980, and is still a comedy classic.  With a cast including Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, Bill Murray and more you know it had to be a hit!  Of course my favorite part is the gopher, that thing cracks me up to this day.  This movie is on the list of the best 50 comedies of all time, and when you watch it you will see why.  It is a golf movie, and I do not want to say much more, this is one of those you will have to see it for yourself movies.  4.5 stars out of 5!
