Gimmie a TV!

I am waiting on just a bit more funding and then I am going to buy myself a new television that will play my blu ray movies perfectly.  I cannot wait because I am getting a plasma screen television, which is the best for watching movies on.  I would like to save enough to get a 1080 p, but since I am impatient I will probably end up with a 720 p instead.

Alf

I just got seasons 3 and 4 of Alf in the mail today, and I am pretty excited.  I wonder why they even had to cancel this show because it is so awesome.  I forget which one, but one of the covers had Alf drinking a milkshake with a cat in it, and that cracked me up!  If you have never seen Alf I recommend watching all of the seasons, it is a funny show.

Season 4

So I finally got the next season of Six Feet Under from Amazon.com, and started watching it.  The show told me everything that I needed to know so I was pretty happy.  I am already on the 7th episode because when I go on these streaks I cannot stop watching it!  I can’t help but wonder if Brenda and Nate are ever going to end up back together again.  It seems like they would but this show takes a lot of turns that I do not see coming.  Anyways, I am just stoked to be able to continue watching it, there is only the rest of this season and season 5 left to watch before I have to find something else.

Dinosaurs

I loved that show Dinosaurs when I was younger, so I bought the box set of season one the other day, and believe it or not the show is still pretty funny to me!  The baby that says Not The Mama still cracks me up!  I recommend anyone who liked the show back in the day to actually buy the box set, because it is still good.  I have been disappointed before with shows that I bought from when I was younger, but this is a good one!  I think that they have seasons 1-3 available for sale.

Six Feet Under Marathon ~ Halted!

I am impatiently waiting on Amazon.com to send me my Six Feet Under season 4, so that I may continue watching it.  I want to know what happened to Lisa.  *Do not read any further if you have not seen it as this contains spoilers!*  It could have been anything, if they found her body it could have been an accident, suicide, or even murder.  It sucks that bad things keep happening to this family.  I hope that in season 4 they answer my questions as to what happened to her.  I am glad that Brenda is still around though, she should be able to help Nate through this situation.

Come on Amazon!

Christmas Shows

I got really excited when I was shopping at Best Buy the other day, because they had what looked like an awesome box set of Christmas shows for $35.00.  It had a picture of the grinch, frosty, and Rudolph on the front, but as I read the back it said that it was like Rudolph’s Christmas in July and like the return of Frosty or something like that.  It was a craptastic collection of Christmas shows, so I was very disappointed.  I love the regular Christmas shows, but the sequels are stupid!

Six Feet Under

I broke into season 2 last night of Six Feet Under.  This is a really amazing show, and now I see why it was on for so many seasons.  HBO always does a great job casting these shows, it seems like the actors are always really good for their parts.  I will probably finish off season 2 within the day, and move on to season three.  I do not have season 4 yet, I hope Sam’s Club gets it in before I need to have it!

MOH: Sick Girl

Lucky McKee is the director of Sick Girl, which is part of the Masters of Horror series.  This one kind of creped me out.  This girl really likes bugs, and keeps them in her home.  She is a lesbian and finally finds a girlfriend, and then also got a new unidentified bug.  There are some funny parts and things like that, I do not want to give away anything but I would recommend it to anyone who likes weird horror movies.  3.5 stars out of 5.

Six Feet Under

I picked up all of the seasons of Six Feet Under (except for season 3) on DVD and started watching them.  I got through disc 2 of season one last night, and so far I really like the show.  It is always fun to see how the people at the beginning of the show and how they die, they have some pretty crazy accidents!  I am looking forward to continuing watching season one.  I recommend this show so far, and it was pretty cheap at Sam’s Club.

The 10th Kingdom

The 10th kingdom was on television for a couple of weeks, it is a long story that is told over a few hours. I love anything to do with fairy tales, and this movie touched on all of the fairy tales including Snow White, Cinderella, and a few others. A modern family gets lost in this fairy tale land, and has quite an adventure. This is a great movie for any fantasy or fairy tale fan, and you can pick up the DVD brand new for pretty cheap, I got it at Blockbuster for like $12.00. 4 stars out of 5!
