Home owning
I have always had a problem getting loans because my credit is far less than perfect. I have been eligible for mortgages before, but only because I already own my own home. When I first got my house I got homeowners insurance on it for around $100,000 because of all of the high tech things I have in it. It is cool though because quite often when you get a mortgage the insurance charges and taxes are included in your monthly payment, so it is kind of like out of sight out of mind. I own my home without a mortgage, so I have to remember to pay all of those things on my own. I would not change a thing though, I love that I do not have a house payment!
